Alchemergy (pronounced "al-chem-er-gee") is the application of alchemical principles to solve the problems of the modern world.  It focuses on the perfection of human beings on all levels of spirit and soul, mind and body, culture and family, world and nations.

    The word "Alchemergy" is made up of several root words that evoke not only the energy and principles of alchemy and transformation but also the emerging of a new way of working in the world.  The component “erg” in Alchemergy is Greek for “work” and root of the English word "energy," which represents the life force behind the Great Work of personal and global transformation. Furthermore, Alchemergy is based on the merging of the Eastern and Western alchemical traditions, which is the coming together of ancient wisdom and modern knowledge, the two cultures of religion and science. This global merging represents the union of our civilization's Soul and Spirit. On the personal level, it is the melding of feminine consciousness and masculine consciousness -- what the alchemists referred to as the Sacred Marriage of the King and Queen. The word "Alchemergy" also carries the sense of emergency that represents our current perilous human situation in a world built on materialism and greed, pride and revenge, fear and falsity. Finally, Alchemergy is about the emergence of a new kind of human being through personal alchemy and the willed mutation of our species.

The blend of scientists, philosophers, religious leaders, businessmen and entrepreneurs possible within the framework of the principles of Alchemergy makes it a powerful force for planetary, social, and personal transformation.

Alchemergy takes change out of the hands of politicians and back into the control of an enlightened populace. It envisions a time when an wary electorate will learn to judge leaders not by their words but by their actions.

    The principles of Alchemergy focus on dissolving structures and personal ego to release living essences and allow growth in any situation. Tapping into the fundamental connection between consciousness and nature is how alchemical transmutation takes place.  The life force itself and not some structured set of preconceptions guide people's thinking and actions. As mathematician Alfred North Whitehead put it: "Nature is a structure of evolving processes -- the reality is the process." The eloquent British commentator Richard Rolle (14th Century AD) wrote: “Some have declared that it lies within our choice to gaze continually upon a world of equal or even greater wonder and beauty. It is said by these that the experiments of the alchemists are, in fact, related not to the transmutation of metals, but to the transmutation of the entire universe. This method, or art, or science, or whatever we choose to call it, is simply concerned to restore the delights of the primal paradise; to enable men, if they will, to inhabit a world of joy and splendor. It is perhaps possible that there is such an experiment, and that there are some who have made it.”
